Accessibility Statement

The short version: We aim to make this website work for everyone, and we aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. If something does not work for you, call or write to us and we will help.

Our commitment

Southern Facility Management wants this website to be usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, magnification, voice control, or keyboard-only navigation.

Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we continue to review and improve the site.

What we have done

  • Pages use headings, landmarks, and lists so they can be navigated by structure
  • A “Skip to main content” link is the first item on every page
  • Links, menus, buttons, and form controls can be used with a keyboard, and keyboard focus is clearly visible
  • Form fields have visible labels, show which fields are required, and announce the result of a submission to screen readers
  • Informative images have text descriptions, and purely decorative images are hidden from assistive technology
  • Text and interface colors were checked against WCAG contrast requirements
  • Animations stop when your device is set to reduce motion
  • Pages adapt to small screens, and text can be enlarged without losing content or function

Limitations

We have reviewed this website using automated checks and manual keyboard testing. It has not yet been audited by an independent accessibility specialist. Some pages include decorative animation and scroll effects. If any part of the site is difficult for you to use, please tell us.
